Toyota Industrial Equipment Europe has launched even higher ergonomic standards on its 3-wheel, 48-volt 7FBEF electric forklift range to provide increased comfort and efficiency.
Enhancements to the 7FBEF include electronic mini-levers integrated into the ergonomic seat-mounted armrest. The forward and reverse directional control is also integrated into the armrest for simple operation when changing direction.
These ergonomic features minimise vibrations and ensure optimum driver comfort when operating on uneven surfaces. They also give the driver more control, improving both efficiency and productivity.
Improved mast visibility is also a key development to the 7FBEF. Better fork tip visibility at ground level and better visibility through the mast at lorry bed height ensure even higher levels of safety and comfort.
As with the rest of Toyota’s electric forklift range, the 7FBEF comes equipped with Toyota’s electric DNA concept, a unique series of industry leading technologies. The System of Active Stability (SAS), AC² Power System and the Operator Total Care (OTC) package that form the building blocks of the Toyota DNA ensure world leading levels of safety, comfort and productivity.
Craig Walby, Product Manager at Toyota, comments: “In line with Toyota’s Kaizen philosophy, we are continuously improving our products to meet the evolving needs of customers, ensuring we provide the highest levels of satisfaction.
“The enhancements to the 7FBEF offer optimum levels of safety, comfort and productivity, allowing customers to benefit from Toyota’s continued commitment to improving its products.”
