January 2007 - Toyota expands electric forklift range
Toyota Industrial Equipment Europe has extended its wide range of electric forklift trucks with a new compact 3-wheel 48-volt truck.
The new addition, the 7FBEF13 features similar compact dimensions as Toyota’s popular 1.25 and 1.5 tonne 24-volt forklifts but offers greater power, thanks to a 48-volt system.
The 7FBEF13 features higher lift and drive speeds and better traction, enabling faster transport of goods. The forklift is ideal for use in tight spaces where extra power is required.
With a load capacity of 1.25 tonnes, the 7FBEF13 comes equipped with Toyota’s electric DNA technologies. The System of Active Stability (SAS), AC² Power System and the Operator Total Care (OTC) package that form the building blocks of the Toyota DNA ensure world-leading levels of safety, comfort and productivity.
As part of the OTC package, the 7FBEF13 also features an Operator Restraint System (ORS) seat with integrated mini-levers, offering maximum comfort and ergonomics for drivers.
Toyota offers a wide selection of 24, 48 and 80-volt electric forklifts with load capacities ranging from one to five tonnes. The electric forklift range includes both 3-wheel and 4-wheel models.
David Backx, Product Specialist at Toyota said: “The 7FBEF13 combines compact dimensions with greater power and speed, making it ideal for usage in smaller spaces where faster materials handling speeds are required.
“This enhancement to Toyota’s broad range of electric forklifts reflects Toyota’s philosophy of continuous improvement. Through constantly evaluating our products and expanding our range to meet the evolving needs of customers, Toyota aims to provide optimum customer satisfaction.”
